Actor-Director-Educator
Hey y’all!!
My name is Eric (he/him) and I am a New York City-based Actor, Director, and Theatre Educator!
I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and even though I was the best dandelion-picker on the soccer team, my parents decided the better move would be to send me to the Jewish Community Center’s summer theatre camp, where I learned all sorts of parodies, songs about matzah ball soup, and Hebrew/Yiddish words. I may not be a soccer player anymore but I got lots of chutzpah!
Some of my favorite work has been in developing new works, Shakespeare and other classical texts, and contemporary drama. Recently, I performed in Scenes from a Night’s Dream (Brother/Son), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Demetrius), Beyond Therapy (Bob), and the development of Sorry God Sometimes I Just Say Things (Leor). My work focuses primarily on creating meaningful art that has a positive impact on the world, bringing out the humanity in people, which I believe theatre/film is the best way to do!
Aside from my artistic adventures, I get very excited about Spongebob, Soulcycle, kangaroos, avocados, socks, roller coasters, and Trader Joe’s. In fact, I have dressed up as a Trader Joe’s employee for Halloween more than once!!
